My son loved this book. It has beautiful illustrations and the story makes you perceive the value of friendship, respect and kindness. The story and the very detailed drawings captured my son's attention until the end. Highly recommended!

This book is really cute. I love the idea of spreading kindness as color. The characters are wonderfully created. I really like the paintbrush character, Bristles, especially as he painted the house and made the cards. I do wish they included the character Paily (who I think is just a pail), more in the story line once we met him as readers but then they just left him. And the font is too small for kids and outlined in white so it was hard to focus on the lettering.

This is a great children's book. Sure it has a nice story, but the artwork in this book is really good. Characters are consistent, warm colors, and really wonderful to look at environments.
